Jerry, I am not here to convince you on Astrology, but it is a study that has been around for centuries, and it is too accurate to be dismissed
as fake. The only thing I will say is,
Destiny is choice….Astrology simply points the way.
It helps people to understand others in what they may favor or how
people act/react according to their birthdate. I will be happy to provide
you with a basic description of urself according to your birthdate, if you
send it to me. Now, not everybody is exactly like their sign, but a good
percentage will be. It is not 100% set in stone, but too accurate most
of the time to be dismissed as fake. Hope this helps some.

why dont you try to find out it yourself instead of asking others’ opinions. you want to know the truth go look for it. make a research, get to know how it works. if it’s convincing then you have your answer. be smart.
There’s a difference between astrology and horoscopes. As far as horoscopes like the things you see in newspapers, I don’t think people necessarily believe in them as much as they are just interested in them and use them as insight. Most of the time, I think people look at them just to see if they’re accurate rather than actually living by them. But astrology is different. Astrology is the actual study of how the universe affects us whereas horoscopes just try to make predictions off of it. All I can tell you is to study astrology. I can’t really give you an answer as to why you should believe in it because it’s a soft science so it’s one of those things you have to see for yourself. Astrology is also poorly understood by almost everyone so if you get people telling you that astrology isn’t worth anything, they don’t understand it even if they think they do.
Astrology is ancient, made up, unproved, belief oriented and bigoted magical thinking. The only fortune telling system that shows bias against even it’s fellow believers. Stereotyping by the calendar and birthdays that have no evidence to support. No one has control over when they are born. This makes astrology a bigoted concept, akin to sexism and racism. Strangely this is not minded, even desired.
If you believe that you have free will, astrology is pointless.
Some will say “find out for yourself “. This is a standard answer that means “I don’t have a clue either”
Some people I know think it’s stupid I love horoscopes so much, but I don’t really pay them any mind. I choose to believe in it right?
Also, when relationships don’t go my way I feel better when I actually have something to blame. Usually I can’t blame a person so I say “Oh they’re a cancer, we weren’t meant to be anyways” and it makes me feel a slight better.
Besides it’s a fun hobby and really fascinating.
I don’t really think anybodys forcing you to believe in it.
Astrology has a lot of truth to it, but horoscopes you find in the paper or the likes are so general that they are not worth the time the people put in to write them. It is more or less a form of getting your attention for another reason (this can go deep, but I will remain on the surface for this).
I have been involved in the metaphysical relm for many years and used to do readings myself.
In order to get a more accurate reading via the modality of astrology, you will need to locate yourself a very good astrologer. In short, not all are created equal. You must do your research.
They will need to ask you several questions in order to do a full chart on you. It is from there that they will read and give their interpretation of your situation in this life.
Again, I am being very brief about this…
But I will say this… even if you find the BEST reader… it is not always true that their interpretation will be correct for you beyond what has already happened or of the present time. Future predictions are really very blind… as all you have to do is change your thinking in any way and viola! … your future has changed~
This is why many psychics seem to get a bad rep… they may have been right at that time, but as I said, you change your thinking and your future changes.
This is why I got out of doing readings. The future is NOT set in stone. I do believe somewhat in destiny… though there are many paths to getting to where you are destined to go. The path getting there is up to you and you alone.
